| Rector - Locum Tenens: The Rev'd Tom Hall The Rector is responsible for the overall running of the Parish in conjunction with the 3 Parish Wardens and the Parish Council. The previous Rector was the Rev'd Ken Suddick, who was trained at St. Francis’ College Brisbane, from 2003. Ken resigned in December 2009 to embark on sailing around the world with his wife, Janice. Assistant Curate - The Rev'd Cheryl Selvage Cheryl joined St Bart’s in February 2009 as Assistant Curate, after being ordained Deacon. Over the few preceding years Cheryl was busy completing her Theological and Formational studies, as well as looking after her family, husband Ross and teenage daughter Jemma. At the end of 2008 Cheryl also left her teaching career of nearly thirty years. Cheryl was ordained Priest in December 2009. Now well into her second year in the Parish of Mount Gravatt, Cheryl has had the pleasure of becoming thoroughly involved with the welcoming and active community. On a daily basis she is involved with the Pastoral Care team taking God’s message into many nursing and private homes in the area. Cheryl says that being involved with liturgical duties and generally assisting with the smooth functioning of the parish is a great blessing. Parish Secretary - Gail Douglas Gail is responsible for the daily office routine and various administrative tasks; and for coordinating the many activities of St. Bart’s Parish life. Gail started working at St Bart’s in 2006. In her home parish of Logan she is a licensed LA, has a background in hospital chaplaincy and in EfM (Education for Ministry) as a mentor.
